Daytona Beach Christian School Reviews

This is a great school. We have been attending for 6 years now. The teachers are great and love the kids. I really feel as if they know my kids and care about them in all aspects. They are always available if i need to voice concerns or have questions. I appreciate the discipline and the curriculum that is used here. The most important factor to us is that they are learning about the bible and god and have the freedom to express themselves about these. The only drawbacks would be the extracuurricular activities which are limited. They have 1-2 field trips per year with the transportation being expensive. This is because they have to hire bus services to transport the kids. The other drawback is the fact that there are no sports to get involved in. We utilize the city rec center for basketball and other sports.

I would reccomend this school to everyone. The teachers care not only about the child, but the entire family. The Administrator is wonderful! He loves and cares about the school, and making it fun and exciting for the children. My child has attended for 5 years. Love this school, you will too!

The security, safety, and discipline are way up there in qualtiy. Miss out on extracurricular activities and sports. More individual assistance provided as needed and caring teachers/staff. Family feeling environment.

I would not recommend this school to anyone!

I would not recomment this school at all. My stepchildren have attended it for 6 years and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The books average 10 years from publication date and are often used even when you are forced to pay for new books. None of the teachers have teaching degrees. Most have only Bachelors degrees in various topics. The entire emphasis is on religeon. They do not seem to care about academics at all. Children are passed without learning the material and if you discuss a learning difficulty with the teacher the response is to give the child a passing grade regardless. There are no extracurricular activities other than religeos and teacher/parent contact is restricted to the day report cards are issues. Other calls are ignored.
