Pine Trail Elementary School Reviews

My son has been in this school since pre-k and he has grown by leaps and bounds. next year will be his last and i am scrambling as i look for a middle school with the same focus on academics as PTE. the teachers and principal are wonderful, couldn't have asked for a better elementary education for my son!

I cannot imagine a better school. There is amazing parent involvement and a great staff headed by an awsome principal.

Pine Trail Elem.is a very good school. Although, my daughter has been complaining about kids being rude to her. I would have taken my daughter out of this school, but she is staying for academic reasons. I've had to come out to the school multiples of times. I hope they improve on their attitude.

We love Pine Trail. So far the teachers and staff have been wonderful.

We've loved Pine Trail for the last few years, however recent overcrowding has us believing that some of these kids lack discipline and parent involvement is not where it should be. Parents seem to be too busy at work to put in any effort with their kids and making a difference at school. Lots of stories of mean kids in the class and out, and of angry teachers. May not be the schools fault, but it's effecting my kids for sure. We've just started talking about maybe having to switch them to a private school. Others in this position may be thinking the same way; if so where will that leave the school? I hope all this changes soon. Mrs. Paranzino should be aware of what some of these kids say to each other. They are still so young to be classifying themselves. Confidence is imperative at this age.

I will have to say yes to this school on the education part...But nooo to this school for many reasons... First of all I had a transportation problem with the bus. Lunch there is unreal how they talk to those kids.

My grandson is in kindergarten and we have seen him improve so much in his academics in the short time he has been there. We think the school is great.

Let's see...the second day of school I went to pick up my daughter (who just started kindergarten) and as I was walking up to her teacher to get her - I heard her ask the other teacher- did someone pick 'A' up? Oh yeah, someone picked her up the other teacher replied. To make a long short - they had no idea where my daughter was! Luckily she was on the playground and safe, but because neither one of them did see her, they assumed someone picked her up! To make it even worse, they did not apololgize and put the blame on her (yes a 5-year old) stating that she needs to stay where she belongs. You would think being it was the second day of school that everyone would be more security conscious - think of what could have happened. Wouldn't recommend school to anyone!

This is a really great school. Unfortunately we had to move to Seminole county, but when we did my daughter was at least a year ahead. Which was good and bad for my daughter, she spent that third grade reviewing. But it also gave her self confidence by making very good grades. My daughters fcat scores were higher when she went to Pine Trail than at the other school. It is a very good school.

Pine Trail is an excellent school in all areas. There is extrodinay leadership by the principal, Mrs. Paranzino and superior parent envolvement.
